Packaging and Transit

Crickets arrive in a ventilated plastic tub with egg-box cardboard inside, which increases surface area, reduces overcrowding, and gives the insects space to move freely. Air holes along the sides maintain airflow while keeping the crickets securely contained. During warmer months the outer box may include additional perforations for ventilation; during colder months a heat pack may be included to maintain a safe transit temperature.

Keeping and Feeding Your Crickets

To maintain nutritional quality between delivery and feeding, keep the crickets at room temperature away from direct sunlight and draughts. Feed them regularly on fresh leafy greens, carrot, squash, or sweet potato — these provide both hydration and nutrients. Remove uneaten food daily to prevent mould. Well-maintained, well-fed crickets deliver significantly more nutritional benefit to your animals than crickets kept in poor conditions.
