ProRep Terrascaping Texturing Compound 1Kg

The ProRep Terrascaping Texturing Compound is a powdered modelling material designed for reptile keepers building naturalistic vivariums and terrariums. It forms the second stage of the ProRep Terrascaping system, bridging the gap between a rough structural base and a finished, sealed habitat surface.

How It Works

Mix the powder with water to form a workable paste, then apply it over a base structure built from polystyrene, Celkon block, or expanding foam. Once spread, the compound can be modelled and shaped to mimic rock faces, bark, or other natural textures — giving your build a realistic, organic appearance before sealing.

Part of a Complete Build System

This compound sits at the core of the ProRep Terrascaping workflow. Once shaped and dried, the surface is sealed using ProRep Terrascaping Sealing Resin (sold separately) and coloured with ProRep Terrascaping Resin Colour Pigment (sold separately). The finished resin layer can be left smooth or have bark, coconut fibre, or sand pressed into it to create a rough, living surface that supports moss and plant growth.
