Microclimate EVO Connected Pro

The Microclimate EVO Connected Pro is a three-channel, cloud-connected digital thermostat built for reptile keepers who want precise, flexible environmental control across multiple enclosures — managed from anywhere in the world. With Wi-Fi connectivity, a capacitive touch display, and a dedicated mobile app for iOS and Android, it represents a serious step forward in vivarium climate management.

Display and Hardware

The EVO Connected Pro uses an all-new capacitive touch glass-fronted display with a gloss black bezel — fast, responsive, and designed to sit cleanly on the front of any vivarium setup. All wiring is housed in a separate main control box, with a single cable running to the display to keep installations tidy. Mounting solutions are built directly into both the display unit and the control box.

Three-Channel Configuration

The Pro variant provides three independently controlled channels, each with its own IP-rated temperature sensor:

• One Dimming Pulse channel
• One On/Off channel
• One On/Off channel with an integrated humidity sensor

Each channel's sensor operates independently of its control function — so if a channel is managing lighting, its sensor can still log temperature data from a separate area of the enclosure. This makes full-gradient data logging across the cool end and basking zone straightforward and reliable.

App and Cloud Connectivity

The EVO Connected app (iOS and Android) acts as a central hub for your entire collection. Add multiple thermostats to a single account and switch between them from one home screen — mixing different EVO Connected models is fully supported. Real-time data is displayed per thermostat, including live channel temperatures, current set points, power output status, and temperature history graphs with up to 12 months of logged data. You can also invite other users — family members, co-keepers, or colleagues — with configurable access levels. A web dashboard is also available as an alternative to the app. A Wi-Fi connection to the thermostat is required for all remote features.

Channel Control Options

Each channel offers a range of control settings to suit different heating and lighting requirements:

• Control type selectable between Dimming or Pulse per channel
• Mode selectable between Heating, Cooling, or Fixed output
• Channels and outputs are colour-coded and individually named for quick identification
• Timing modes range from simple constant control through to full multi-period scheduling

Ramp Time and Timing Modes

Ramp time allows temperature transitions to occur gradually rather than immediately — particularly useful for the shift between night and day set points, where a slow rise over one to two hours reflects natural conditions far more accurately than an abrupt change. Three timing modes give keepers full flexibility over the 24-hour cycle:

• Constant: a single temperature or setting maintained around the clock
• Day and Night: separate set points for daytime and night-time periods
• Multi: up to 8 individual settings across a 24-hour period

A Seasons mode is also available, enabling year-round environmental variation for species that require it.

Menu System and Data History

The on-screen menu follows the same layout as previous EVO generations — keepers already familiar with the range can navigate it without relearning. An on-screen temperature history graph is accessible directly from the touchscreen, providing a quick local view of recent conditions without needing the app.
