If your current lamp has reached the end of its life, this is the correct replacement — not a standalone fixture, but a precision-fit component for the three-part Eco-Halogen system comprising the ceramic screw, lamp, and main body.

What These Lamps Do

Running at 25w, these halogen lamps emit a bright white light comparable to natural sunlight, producing both heat and UVA in the process. The quartz glass face ensures effective distribution of both heat and light across the vivarium, supporting basking behaviour and general daytime activity in reptiles and other exotic species.

Halogen Advantage Over Incandescent

Halogen technology outperforms standard incandescent bulbs in two key areas: efficiency and longevity. The halogen cycle re-deposits evaporated tungsten back onto the filament as the lamp runs, extending its usable life. At the same output, halogens generate more light and heat while drawing less energy than an equivalent incandescent lamp.
