Repashy SuperFly is a ready-to-mix culture media for rearing Drosophila fruit flies at home — an essential staple for keepers feeding small frogs, dart frogs, juvenile geckos, chameleons, and other micro-prey feeders. Suitable for both Drosophila melanogaster and Drosophila hydei, this 170g tub is formulated to produce nutritionally dense flies rather than simply sustaining a colony.

Nutritional Fortification

SuperFly is enriched with minerals, trace elements, vitamins, and carotenoids — including spirulina, dried kelp, rosehips, calendula, and marigold flower extract — so the flies themselves carry greater nutritional value by the time they reach your animals. Carotenoid sources such as paprika extract, canthaxanthin, and Phaffia rhodozyma yeast support pigmentation and health in insectivorous species. No additional active yeast is required.

Mixing and Culture Instructions

For a standard 32oz deli container, combine ¼ cup of SuperFly with ⅔ cup of hot water — distilled or bottled where possible — and stir thoroughly until blended. The finished mixture should be fluid enough to level out when the container is tapped on a surface. Allow it to sit for a few hours to fully absorb before adding flies.
