The PR Wood Humid Hide Small (DPH230) is a resin hide designed to support healthy shedding in snakes and lizards. Built to replicate the look of a natural tree trunk, it creates a contained humid microclimate when packed with moss or another absorbent substrate — exactly what reptiles need when heading into a shed.

Design & Fit

The hide is shaped to sit flush in the corner of a vivarium or terrarium, making efficient use of space without dominating the enclosure. The wood-effect resin finish blends naturally into most setups, keeping the aesthetic clean while serving a genuine functional purpose.

Removable Lid

The lid lifts off completely, giving you straightforward access to the interior for topping up moss, checking on your animal, or cleaning down the hide between uses. There are no awkward angles or fiddly fixings — maintenance is quick and simple.

Creating a Humid Microclimate

Fill the interior with damp sphagnum moss or a similarly absorbent material to raise humidity within the hide itself, independent of the rest of the enclosure.
