Panel Specification and Weight

The aluminium frame carries the structural load, which means thinner panels can be used without any loss of durability. The bottom panel is 12mm melamine-coated chipboard, the side panels are 6mm melamine-coated chipboard, and the top panel is 15mm — thick enough for equipment to be screwed directly into the ceiling of the enclosure and held securely in place. This combination keeps the overall weight low and makes the vivarium straightforward to relocate when needed.

Ventilation and Cable Management

Visibility and Access

Without the need for front support plinths, the sliding glass doors extend from a bottom glass strip all the way up to the ceiling of the enclosure. A black runner sits above the bottom glass strip and guides the sliding doors, which are secured with a plastic door latch. This gives an unobstructed front view across the full height of the enclosure — a genuine advantage when decorating and observing your animals.
