ABOUT THIS SPECIES
The Feline Gecko is a small East African species named for its relatively large eyes and alert expression. Colouration is generally pale brown to grey with darker mottling or banding, offering camouflage against bark and rocky surfaces.
This species is primarily nocturnal and semi-arboreal, sheltering in crevices, under bark, or within rock formations during the day. After dusk it emerges to hunt small insects. In captivity, it benefits from a compact but structured enclosure with vertical elements and secure hiding spots. Consistent warmth, moderate humidity and good ventilation reflect the seasonal climates of its natural range and support normal activity patterns.
