Product Information

FS Tropical Granules are a slowly sinking granule food formulated for mid-water and bottom-feeding tropical fish, including discus, angelfish, cichlids, barbs, catfish, and loach. Built around insect meal as the primary protein source, this formula mirrors the natural, insect-based diet these species would consume in the wild — rather than relying heavily on marine-derived fish meal.

Insect Meal Foundation

Insect meal sits at the core of the ingredient list, offering a highly digestible protein source that supports fish health while producing less waste in the aquarium. This approach also reduces dependence on wild-caught fish meal, making it a more sustainable choice for the conscientious keeper.

Natural Colour Enhancers

The formula includes spirulina algae, paprika, and krill — all naturally occurring sources of pigment that support vivid colouration without relying on artificial additives alone.

Feeding Guide

Feed once or twice daily, offering only as much as your fish will consume within one minute. Remove any uneaten food promptly to maintain water quality.
