The FS Oak and Algae Wafers are a complete, nutritionally balanced diet formulated specifically for Plecostomus, Peckoltia, and other larger algae-eating aquarium fish. The inclusion of oak bark is a deliberate nutritional choice — not a filler — providing the essential roughage these species need for efficient digestion and long-term health.

Wafer Format and Feeding Behaviour

Each wafer measures 17mm in diameter and is designed to dissolve slowly, giving fish the opportunity to graze naturally rather than competing for food that breaks apart too quickly. If you're keeping smaller fish alongside your plecos, the wafers can be broken into pieces to suit. Feed once or twice daily, offering only what your fish will consume within 20 minutes.
