ABOUT THIS SPECIES

Corn snakes are slender North American colubrids that do well in a secure enclosure with plenty of hides and some climbing opportunity. They’re naturally curious once settled and tend to use the whole setup when given cover, texture, and a proper warm-to-cool gradient.

This animal is listed as “Auratum” plus het Microscale, Motley, Hypo and Diffused. As heterozygous traits, these are primarily of interest for future breeding projects rather than changing day-to-day care or appearance in a normally expressed animal.

“Auratum” is used in the hobby as a label/line by some breeders, but the exact meaning isn’t reliably standardised across the market, so it’s best treated as “as stated” unless you have the breeder’s definition in writing.
