The ET T5 UVB Fixture 60cm (24W, PT4256) is a high-performance T5 fluorescent hood designed specifically for use with Exo Terra's T5 VHO UVB bulbs, though it accepts any compatible T5 linear fluorescent tube of the correct wattage and length. Built for reptile keepers who need reliable, consistent UVB output, it sits cleanly on top of a terrarium mesh screen or can be mounted inside the enclosure using the appropriate bracket accessory.

Electronic Ballast & Lamp Performance

The fixture runs a high-quality electronic ballast that eliminates flicker entirely — important for both animal welfare and the longevity of the tube itself. The ballast also increases the performance and working life of T5 VHO bulbs compared to standard magnetic ballasts, meaning more consistent UVB output over the tube's lifespan.

Reflector Output

A highly polished internal reflector increases usable lamp output by 2.5 times compared to unshielded tube use. This directs light and UV downward into the enclosure where it matters, rather than losing it upward or to the sides.
