Compatibility and Bulb Use

Designed for use with T5 VHO UVB reptile bulbs, this fixture will also accept any compatible T5 linear fluorescent tube of the appropriate wattage and length. That flexibility means you can match the bulb to your species' specific UVB requirements without being locked into a single option.

Electronic Ballast and Safety

The electronic ballast is a meaningful upgrade over older magnetic designs — it removes flicker, boosts bulb performance, and extends lamp lifespan. The fixture is protected against over-voltage, over-current, end-of-lamp-life (EOL) conditions, and overheating, and ships with a grounded plug for safe mains connection.

Reflector Output
