The ET Glow Light/Reflector Small 14cm (PT2052) is a compact clamp-on dome fixture designed to give reptile and amphibian keepers precise, flexible placement of heat and light sources on any terrarium. Where it stands apart from a standard dome is its luminous interior coating — a feature that makes it a genuine day-and-night tool rather than a single-purpose lamp holder.

Luminous Reflector Coating

The inside of the reflector is treated with a highly reflective luminous coating that absorbs light energy during the day and releases a gentle glow after the lamp is switched off. This low-level illumination allows diurnal species to find their hides or burrows without stress, while giving nocturnal reptiles and amphibians enough ambient light to behave naturally without disrupting their night cycle. It also lets you check on your animals after lights-out without switching on room or vivarium lighting.

Compatible options include basking spots, neodymium daylight bulbs, halogen lamps, compact UVB bulbs (2.0, 5.0, and 10.0 output), infrared heat bulbs, and high-output mercury vapour lamps up to the Solar Glo 125W. Maximum rated wattage is 200W.

Day and Night in One Fixture

Because the luminous coating eliminates the need for a dedicated night bulb in most setups, this fixture removes one variable from your lighting schedule. No secondary lamp is required for overnight ambience unless you are also using the fixture as a supplementary heat source after dark.
