ABOUT THIS SPECIES

Corn snakes are hardy, curious colubrids that suit a simple, well-ventilated setup with plenty of cover. They’re natural climbers as well as ground cruisers, so branches, ledges and cluttered décor make a big difference to how often you see them out and about.

This animal is a Hypo with multiple het (carrier) genes listed for future breeding potential; those “het” traits won’t necessarily show visually, but they matter if paired to the right genetics.

Expect a snake that spends time tucked into snug hides, then emerges to explore, often around dusk and feeding days especially once it feels secure in its enclosure.
